ST EDMUNDS HOUSES, PALMERSTOWN, DUBLIN 20

Corcom were appointed by the stakeholders to assess the 11-acre site at St Edmunds, Palmerstown which was a brownfield site with planning for an unviable development and no access to services for development. Corcom produced a development analysis of the site with the objective of identifying the optimum development / realisation option for the lands.

Corcom were subsequently engaged by the stakeholders to implement this strategy which involved preparing and submitting a new planning application for a development of 102 houses on the site.

Through collaboration with the Local Authority and considerable communication with neighbouring residents and stakeholders Corcom secured full planning permission for the new development through the Council without any appeal to An Bord Pleanála or conditions of concern.

This grant of permission added considerable value to the asset and has been welcomed by residents living within the completed sections of the development. Construction is to commence on site in 2016.
